| Dyeing with Mother Nature: Dyestuffs from my farm and nature.
Yarn is furnished as well as recipes. Each student will take home
enough yarn for a small project. Not just a "sample" class!
This class is about 4 to 5 hours. |
| Let's Play Spin the Bunny: Secrets and my way of spinning
my English Angora wool on drop spindle and wheel. Fibers and drop
spindles furnished for class. Covers harvesting wool to finished goods.
And a chance to hug a bunny! This class runs about 3 to 4 hours. |

Quilting 1-2-3: Designed for beginners and novices. There
is a right way, a wrong way, my way and after this class you will
have your own way to quilt. Learn basics of cutting, piecing, appliqué,
basting, quilting. This is a 6 hour class.

| The Vest From Outside the Box:
In this class we will knit a vest beginning with the washed wool/roving, dyeing if you want, creating the pattern and size as your whim dictates. You can make either a vneck pullover, a boat neck pullover or a button front vneck to your own size. The class will meet 4 times beginning May 19 and on June 9 and 16. The last class will be on finishing and will depend upon your own knitting schedule. OR, for people who want to do it all up at once, the 3 day class will meet June 22 thru 24. You will need to bring you own spinning wheel, knitting needles in size 10 and 11. And you will need to provide your own washed fleece. Cost is 130.00. Class will meet here at the farm. |
Private classes: Offered for 1 to 3 people for $50.00 per person, a 90 minute to 2 hour class.
