Dyed Fiber I have been dying up a storm!!! Right now I have available gallon sacks of dyed fiber-----------angora, wools (from border leicester, corridale, icelandic, shetland, and others), alpaca, llama, Ingeo (made from corn), silk, mohair and probably some persian cat hair too! The colors include blues, yellows, purples and greens. I mix in a bit of natural color as well. These bags are great for spinning ( I wouldn't card/mix them too much as you will loose the individual colors) or for felting. Add some color to your fiber stash! |
$10.00
per bag You'll love 'em! |
| Harvest Wool My English Angora is harvested by hand combing. I (and the mouse in my pocket) comb each one down about 3 times a year. I sell the harvested wool by bunny, by the sack. The weight will vary. The amount of angora is what is important. A harvest from an adult bunny will fill one of the plastic sacks from the grocery store. I get about 150 to 200 yards finely spun per sack. This is prime, combed angora, no big globs of mats or short clipped fibers. Colors available are white, black (a soft grey actually), chocolate, red (really reddish blonde), blue. I sometimes have juvenile harvests. |
$35.00 per sack or $8.00 per ounce, combed prime |
