Handwoven on my great loom whose name is Bonnie. A delightful mix of hand dyed blues and greens on mill spun Corriedale wool yarns. The warp is all wool, the weft is a mix of coppery colored rayon and silk. Woven in a twill patterns. About 56x84 plus fringe. Hand wash, cool, line dry.
Handwoven on my great loom of all handspun yarns of Blue Face, Border Leicester, Romney, mohair and angora................in both natural shades of grey, white, cream and a bit of indigo blue dyed yarns. I raise the sheep, angora goats and angora bunnies, shearing, washing, dying the wool. Then handspinning it all on my 40 year old spinning wheel, Matilda. Woven in my favorite ROSEPATH pattern, which dates from the 1400s. Appx 60x90 plus fringe. Hand wash cold, line dry. Very warm, cozy, and will keep you warm on winter nights!
The sheep for this sweater was blade sheared by me, the wool washed, carded and spun right here on the farm. Handspun yarns from natural colored Border Leicester with a sprinkling of English Angora bunny were handknit into this soft, comfortable sweater. A nice ribbing is at the bottom of the sweater body and cuffs as well as the neck. The sleeves are long enough to cuff up if desired. Fits LG to XLG. Hand wash, cold, air dry flat. Other sizes can be ordered, allow 8 weeks or so.
Nothing will keep your feet warmer than handspun wool sox, especially if a bit of mohair and English Angora are added! The sox pictured here are all adult sized and knit in my own tube sox pattern so there is no defined heel. Very comfortable to wear! The wools used are all from my own flock, processed right here on the farm. Great for sleeping in or to keep your toes toasty inside your Wellies! If you don't see a pair you like, drop me a note.
3 Vests and Friends
Lily and her friends are admiring these wool vests and well they should as the wools came from their very backs! These 3 vests are all handknit from handspun yarns. I do the blade shearing, washing, carding and dyeing right here on the farm. (Some of the rovings were run at Wooly Knob Fiber Mill.....but by me!) They are original patterns and no two vests are ever exactly alike.
The gold colored one is made from Romney, Blue Face Leicester, mohair and a bit of glitz. It features a ribbed bottom edge, checkerboard band, faux horn buttons.
The blue one is knitted in a 2x2 ribbed pattern so it easily stretches over turtleneck shirts and yet snugs against your body. Is a v neck pullover style.
The striped one is made from Blue Face Leicester (the blue bands dyed with flowers in my garden), Romney, Border Leicester, mohair and angora. Features antique shell buttons. These vests fit XL to XXL size.
Handwoven wool blanket, 110x54 plus fringe,
This is the first of my handwoven blankets from my loom, Bonnie. It is woven from commercial wool yarn, some of my handspun yarn, some hand dyed. The handspun contains a bit of angora from my German Angora bunny, Maggie. The warp color is a symphony of autumn shades and the weft is a heathery burgundy, woven in my favorite pattern, Rosepath. Like a walk in the woods.
Handspun wool yarns with a bit of angora added (sometimes alpaca, silk, glitz too!). Handwoven in either Rosepath, twill or plain weave. A unique design. Very comfortable, great scrunchability!!!!
Available in soft grey, medium brown, dark grey, purple, green, blue.

I make these up one at a time so no 2 are alike.
The whiter scarf is knitted in seed stitch on large needles giving a lacy and textured appearance. My handspun yarn is 50% Angora/50% Border Leicester wool. The best of both worlds. Handwash cold water, line dry. Available in white or grey.

The second scarf with the grey is handwoven in an ancient pattern, ROSEPATH
(one of my very favorite patterns!). It is woven of my handspun yarn and
has a 30% Angora/70% Wool content. Handwash in cold water, line dry. Available
in mainly white (natural) or grey. Warm and wonderful!
This shawl, woven in ROSEPATH is a combination of soft sheep wool (the dark brown), camel down (I am personally acquainted with the camel, having ridden her at one time) and the weft is pure English Angora (Lucy & Loren donated for this one). About 90 inches long. Lattice knotted fringe. Hand wash cold water, line dry.
